Raising Aspirations Through Partnerships
At the heart of the Aspirations Incubator is a belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to dream big and achieve their full potential. By partnering with the University of Maine System and independent colleges across the state, we’re creating pathways for students in rural communities to see themselves as future college graduates. These partnerships aren’t just about simplifying the admissions process—they’re about opening doors, breaking down barriers, and inspiring the next generation to envision and pursue brighter futures. Together, we’re raising aspirations, one higher education partnership at a time.

Thomas College, University of Southern Maine, and University of Maine - Farmington Campus: Students on our Aspirations Incubator Master List are automatically recognized during the admissions process, ensuring they receive all available benefits.
USM Promise Scholarship Program: Through a partnership with the University of Southern Maine, are eligible to apply for the USM Promise Scholarship Program. This program provides financial and academic support to students, covering up to 100% of tuition and fees. The scholarship is renewable and offers additional funding for educational expenses on a case-by-case basis as well. Eligible students must demonstrate financial need and a commitment to civic engagement, with preference given to first-generation college students and referrals from youth development organizations.
These partnerships are designed to empower young people, helping them to see what’s possible and take the next steps toward their dreams.
